An awareness against burning of Paddy fields was organized by B.Ed students of NSS and Red Ribbon Club in Pine Grove College of Education. Mr.Vijay Kumar Kaushal,Chairman Pine Grove Group of institutes educated all the students about the health hazards of paddy burning. Dr.Deepali Singla informed all the students that our air is being polluted because of Paddy fire burning. Our elders and children are facing lot of diseases due to it. She also told that govt. has ordered all the farmers not to burn the paddy fields. Red ribbon Club incharge madam Pawandeep Kaur told all the students that the smoke from the fire results in road accidents because of poor visibility. NSS incharge Mr.Ravinder Singh (Assistant Prof.)encouraged all the students to plant more trees. The college students created awareness among the villagers about the health hazards of paddy fire burning.
